At left is Henry Bell, manager of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association; Frank D. Jones, who donated the heifer; Marvin Maberry, manager of the Jones Ranch, and William H. Gardener, who represented Governor Shivers. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 26, 1952.
