Ben Hogan, left, and Doug Ford watch Ray Gafford sink putt for par on 16th green at the National Invitation Golf Tournament held at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth. Hogan won tournament with 279, one under par. Ford and Gafford tied for fourth at 286. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition May 26, 1952.
