Description
In memory of her own and other fathers killed in battle, Susan McCarty kneels after placing her wreath at the foot of Doughboy Monument in Mount Olivet. With her are John Hawn, left, and Jess Roberman, representing Fort Worth Voiture 1185, 40 & 8. They participated in the annual Memorial Day service. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 26, 1952.
