Lionel W. Bevan, center, president and general manager of the Fair, receives from Charles T. Lux of Austin, executive secretary Retail Merchants Association of Texas, a plaque recognizing his services as RMAT president in 1928 and 1929. At right, holding his plaque is J. E. R. Chilton Jr., Dallas, president in 1932. Presentation was made at Hotel Texas. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 23, 1952.
