Description
So they baked a cake and barbecued some chicken and called in the chowder and marching society membership out at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Jewell Thursday night, to commemorate Si Addington's birthday. It was reported by a usually unreliable source that the society finally fell to matching pennies and thus made Si pay for his dinner. From left to right are Joe Echols, Lloyd Garren, Joe Cochran, Horace, Si, Travis Foster and Roger Vinson. The guests had planned to give Si a carton of Tuberose, the snuff with valuable coupon inside, but Roger Vinson misappropriated the funds for same.
