Description
Mrs. Giles W. Wynne of 1007 West Belknap, is shown as she marks her ballot in support of a school bond issue. Mrs. Giles is shown at the center of the image, and is surrounded by her children, who watch as their mother casts her vote at Precinct 2, west end of the county courthouse basement. Her children, left to right, are Mary Elizabeth, 8; Susie, 11; Warren, 10, and David, 9. All four children attend Peter Smith Elementary School. Published in the evening edition, May 15, 1950.
