Wearing of shorts in public became an issue when Mrs. F. H. Wilson protested in a letter to city council. She contended that shorts have their place, and offering visual proof are TCU students Nancy Stevens, left, and Madge Moreland. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition May 14, 1952.
