This Afghan hound, Pilar of Shira, has already finished her championship but will take time out from her duties as a mother to appear in the Fort Worth Kennel Club's all-breed dog show. She is owned by O. A. Wooten, 3636 College, and is posed here with her puppies by Mrs. Caroline "Carrie" Wooten. Published in the morning edition, March 26, 1950.
