Mayor Edwards, left, cut this tape and opened the gate to a throng of visitors at an open house at Armour & Company on the plant's 50th anniversary. At right is John B. Teel, branch house, district manager, and beside him is the Fort Worth plant's general manager, E. L. Dobbs.
