Keynoter of the Boy Scout's house-to-house campaign over the South Side, distributing volunteer blood donation pledge cards, was Major Ray W. Murphy of Carswell Air Force Base, left, who spoke at a kickoff session in E. M. Daggett School. Left to right with him are Weldon Sullivan of Cub Pack 9, Darrell Barrett of Troop 46 and Karen Schweitzer of the Junior Red Cross. The 585th Air Force Band from Carswell played.
