Description
Shivers Win in County Box - Precinct 42, which includes Birdville, Oak Knoll and Haltom City, was one pf Tarrant County's first democratic precincts Saturday to favor uninstructed vote at count's first courthouse- Birdville School-45 delegates defeated "loyalist" efforts to name a permanent chairman and "loyalist" delegates, also a proposal for a written loyalty oath. Holt's daughter, 2-year old Barbara Ann, took part in the "voting" after she watched the crowd raise hands-on issues.
