Brownwood's Bobby Leverett, left, and Weatherford's Clarence Culwell lunge at the tape which isn't there in the 880-yard dash finish. The tape had broken. Leverett got the photo decision. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition April 20, 1952.
