The Old J. B. Googins home at 1101 Penn, built in 1906 and once the gathering place of city society, had opened as the Hillcrest Clinic Hospital, dedicated to salvaging the lives of alcoholics. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition April 18, 1952.
