Description

Dr. M. E. Sadler, Texas Christian University (TCU) president, was honored with a personal citation from the National Conference of Christians and Jews for more than 25 years' work with the organization. More than 500 persons witnessed the presentation at a dinner held at River Crest Country Club. Dr. M. E. Sadler, left, receives a National Conference of Christians and Jews citation for "democratic human relations" from Lionel W. Bevan, vice president of the Ford Motor Company who was the main speaker at the testimonial dinner. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition April 18, 1952.
