Description
Gladys Starks asked the Star-Telegram to help her "strike it rich" by getting her a bicycle so she could go to the store for her mother. It was almost a gold mine when Easter time brought four bikes, one for each of the children. They are, left to right, Lloyd James, Gladys, Alvin, and Melvin. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition April 13, 1952.
