Freedoms Foundation, Inc., gave Hal Coffman, left, a Star-Telegram cartoonist, a medal and $200 for his cartoon which placed him second in the foundation's nationwide contest. With him are Melvin H. Leonard, center, foundation vice president, and Kenneth Wells, president, Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition April 10, 1952.
