Description
Boy Scouts of North Star District converged on Hovenkamp's Park in a surprise emergency mobilization. First arrivals were three boys from Troop 118, left to right, Don Lynch, Richard Mills, and Mike McCullough. With them came Richard's father, A. W. Mills, seen center. They are seen checking in with H. E. Layton, far left, health and safety director of the district. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition April 10, 1952.
