Mrs. Ellen Butcher Haas celebrated her 89th birthday with a party at her home, 819 E. Jefferson. Mrs. Haas, who was born in Ohio in 1863, has lived in Fort Worth for 36 years. Her children are Mrs. H. C. Stice of Dallas, J. G. Butcher of Laurel, Montana, R. P. Butcher of Dallas, Mrs. Helen Jackson of Compton, California, and Glen Butcher of the East Jefferson address. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, April 15, 1952.
