Sheriff Sully Montgomery, left, and resigned Assistant District Attorney A. L. Wardlaw were served by U. S. Marshal Wright, right, with warrants for their arrest for alleged income tax evasion when they appeared voluntarily at U. S. Courthouse within 30 minutes after their indictment by the special crime-probing federal grand jury. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, March 28, 1952.
