Kenneth Echlund, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Echlund, 5518 Pershing, leaves for San Diego Naval Training Station Monday to start a four-year hitch in the Navy. He was honored at a dinner party given by friends. Echlund is a midterm graduate of Arlington Heights High School and a Demolay. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, March 24, 1952.
