Description
Balmorhea area farmers get irrigation water that runs into this canal into a storage reservoir. The canal was built by the Department of the Interior and handles water from Balmorhea Springs and Phantom Lake in the Davis Mountains. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition March 21, 1952.
