Little Charles Cook, shown with Mrs. Charlene McCarty, a nurse in City-County Hospital, was critically burned in a fire at Grapevine which left his mother, Mrs. Corine Cook, 27, and a 2-year-old brother, Tommy, were both fatally wounded and at the time of this photo, in critical condition. His father, Horris Weldon (Jack) Cook, was not in the fire. Both
