Description
Left to right, John Helm of Antlers, Oklahoma was one of the early arrivals in Fort Worth for the convention. Kid Jeffers, who lives in Antlers, Oklahoma, but was reared in Texas and ranched in Texas many years, was among the first at the registration desk to get his badge for the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association convention. Charles Featherstone, Wichita Falls business man who has one of the good ranches in Oklahoma, went out to the stockyards at Fort Worth to check on market conditions early and then spent the day visiting with his cattlemen friends.
