Left, H. L. Hord, Marfa rancher, says it is just getting time for it to rain in that country, and it should not have taken that long to grow good grass as it did in other places. Right, Albert E. Gates says, "There are fewer cattle in that country than usual due to the long dry spell". Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition March 19, 1952.
