Happy Birthday - Brownie Kathleen Sparks, left, and Girl Scout Sharron McKay wish their organization a happy birthday by contributing to the Juliette Low World Friendship Fund before a large cake. Parties have been held throughout the city during the last week commemorating the 40th anniversary of Girl Scouting in the United States. Each girl gave nickels, dimes and pennies in the amount of her birthday years to promote world peace and understanding.
