Three Texas Christian University freshmen, James Wood, left, Ronald Clinkscale and Robert Gathwright, right, look over their new shoes for the Southwestern Recreation track meet. All three are from Fort Worth. Wood will enter the mile, Clinkscale the sprints, and Gathwright the 880. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition March 12, 1952.
