Description
William Ruthes Ray, left, child rapist, is shown as he started the last auto trip he may ever make. He was driven from Dallas County jail to Corsicana to hear formal sentence sending him to the electric chair. Then he was driven to Huntsville to await electrocution. Star-Telegram Reporter Mack Williams is at right. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition March 17, 1950.
