Description
Charles Lynch, 31, Texas Wesleyan College ministerial student, traces the route (shown on map below) that Robert H. Barber took him on his escape from Saint Joseph's Hospital. Barber picked Lynch up as he was hitchhiking a ride to school, stripped him of his coat, shoes and hat. He was robbed of his belongings. Lynch narrowly missed getting shot when police officers spotted Barber in a stolen car just off Mansfield Highway and leveled their guns at the air.
