Patrolman V. M. Gilmore inspects the bullet-riddled car in which Robert Hugh Barber made a vain attempt at escape. the 26-year-old slayer stole the vehicle from Mrs. J. F. Jackson, 2108 Weatherbee, as she drove into the Saint Joseph Hospital parking lot. Part of the bullet holes were made by Barber, returning the fire of officers. man in police unifrom looking on the inside of a white car.
