Description
Members of the official Air Force inquiry board met at Carswell Air Base to question crew survivors and analyze factors which might have caused the crash of a B-36 off the British Columbia coast, returning from Alaska. Board members shown in the photograph talking with Lieutenant Colonel John D. Bartlett, squadron commander who flew the ill-fated plane to Alaska a week ago, are Major General Joseph Atkinson, Brigade General Kingston E. Tibbetts, Colonel Al Wilson, Colonel Clare Bunch, Colonel Vincent G. Huston, Colonel Don Flickinger, Lieutenant Colonel Edwin Kirton, and Major H. A. Beck.
