Description

General George C. Kenney, retired, Allied air commander in the Pacific in World War II, picks out the hat he wore during the Pacific campaign from the stack of souvenir headgear at Amon Carter's suite at the Fort Worth Club. In the general's left hand is the hat that once belonged to Fleet Administrator Chester Nimitz. A smiling man standing in front of hats on hooks.
