Description
These 27 persons participate in the "silent member" religious work of the Broadway Baptist Church organized and directed by Miss Bertie Mae McDonald, department store bookkeeper. The group is shown at its special table during the church's homecoming dinner in Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum. Miss McDonald, daughter of deaf parents, interprets Sunday morning service in sign language for the deaf.
