Description
Mrs. A. Grant Fewsmith, 3800 Westcliff Road South, shows some heirloom fabrics and embroideries used to illustrate her program on "Use of Antique Fabrics" at the Woman's Club. The chintz bedspread pictured, in "Peafowl Family" pattern, was made nearly 200 years ago in a factory established by Benjamin Franklin near Philadelphia. The picture is a petit point embroidery by a great-great-grandmother of Mr. Fewsmith.
