Striking a pose after being named grand champion of the Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show's turkey contest, this Broad Breasted Bronze tom, a 48-pounder, receives a pat on the back from owner Walter W. Ward of Brady for taking the title and for winning the pictures Texas State Branch. American Poultry Association, award. Brady was elected vice president of the Texas branch. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition February 4, 1952.
