Easter Star, 1950 mare owned by Oak Hill Farm of Ardmore, was named champion American Saddlebred Horse for foals of 1950 and 1951, both sexes. In the picture at right A. J. Beasley of Fort Worth presents trophy to Marshall Cole, left. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition February 1, 1952.
