Three retired firemen, whose combined firefighting service for Fort Worth totals 125 years, climbed back in an aerial ladder truck to receive awards from Fire Chief Fontaine. Left to right, examining the frame awards, are J. R. Powell, 34 years' service; J. P. Faris, 44, and J. V. Smith, 47.
