1952 Stock Show. Grand champion steer of the 1952 Stock Show is Gold Strike, a 1,045-pound Angus, shown at left with his owner, W. C. Anderson Jr of West Liberty, Iowa. W. R. Watt, Amon Carter, congratulate the owner of the reserve champion, Joe Willis, Ector County 4-H Club member shown with his 1,000 pound Hereford.
