Stock Show President W. R. Watt, left, presents Mrs. Tommy Brook the show's silver platter trophy for the best three junior steers from one herd at the Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show The steers from Goldthwaite were all from the Brook herb at Camp San Saba. Mr. Brook is shown next to his wife and the three boys are, left to right, Bill Parker, Bob Parker and Davis Owens, all Future Farmers of America members. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition January 28, 1952.
