Description
O. P. Leonard, center, all set to go aboard a Bell helicopter for a first demonstration of a proposed air shuttle service between downtown Fort Worth and Greater Fort Worth International Airport, receives a handshake from Dudley C. Jernigin, right, Fort Worth's acting postmaster, while Maury H. Huffman, executive director of the Fort Worth Air terminal Inc., left, who made the return test flight from the airport, watches. This is a test of the feasibility of establishing a helicopter shuttle service between the city and the airport, 11 air miles away.
