This sextet of Breckenridge High School majorettes won the baton twirling ensemble division of a regional contest conducted at the opening of the Texas Sports and Outdoor Show in Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum at Fort Worth. Left to right, Jackie Fizer, Wanda Ferguson, Emma Lou Alexander, Margie Thornton, Nedra Jane Douglass and Nancy Chastain. Presenting trophy to them is F. R. (Woody) Woodard of Fort Worth. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition April 11, 1950.
