Description
When Sergeant James E. Steele, 1014 E. Jefferson, returned to civilian life from the Marine Corps he first eased on the bright red boots he was forced to pack away for 17 months and then dug into the Christmas presents awaiting him. Giving him an assist with the unwrapping is his young nephew and namesake, Jimmy Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Thomson, 916 E. Jessamine.
