Weaver, commanding officer of the project; Colonel E. B. Maxwell, commanding officer of Carswell Air Force Base; Congressman Overton Brooks of Shreveport, Louisiana; Major General Charles E. Thomas Jr., commanding officer of the 14th Air Force, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia; R. Wright Armstrong, first vice president of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce; Fort Worth, Mayor J. R. Edwards Brigadier General Robert J. Smith, Dallas; Colonel Edgar Glenn, commanding officer of the 3rd Air Reserve District, Austin, and Marshall Kennady, chairman of the chamber's military affairs committee.
