Image from a series on Dr. Raymond Hander, a veterinarian. Dr. Hander, right, is shown at the Martin Crews Pathook Ranch near Childress, giving a dose of penicillin to a Hereford calf to combat an infection, diphtheria, which had blocked the calf's throat. Published in the June edition of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram's Ranch and Farm News, 1951.
