With the help of a good block, Halfback Virgil Mutschink of Giddings romps for a short gain against Newcastle in the first period of the Class 1A football title game at Graham. Laying the block is Bill Arndt, a tackle, while Lee Otis Clayborn (63) is the would-be tackler. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition December 22, 1951.
