Description
U. S. Marshal J. R. Wright, left, and his chief deputy L. N. McKelvey, opened sealed bids and sold for $4150 a collection of inexpensive jewelry accumulated in the office since the 1930s. It was first sale of its kind and high bidder was L. B. Howell. jewelry was stolen property never identified by owners.
