This painting by Cynthia Brants was awarded top honors in the 1950 Local Artists Show, current at the Fort Worth Art Association gallery in the Public Library. The picture, "Rooftops of Florence", received the Bertram Newhouse $300 prize in any medium, and the Newhouse $100 award in a special medium.
