    Description

Voters in Fisher County will again find the name of County School Superintendent C. J. Dalton on the ballot this summer although the 65-year-old civic dynamo denies that he is a politician and claims to be an unorthodox school man. So far no rival candidate has filed to oppose him for elections and it is thought unlikely he will have an opponent for his fifth term. He has had opposition only once, that was in 1934 the first time he was elected for a four-year term. Dalton has been in administrative shcool posts for 40 of the 45 years he has been in Fisher County and to most folks he and the county school system are synonymous. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition March 15, 1950.
