Description
This spacious home (which has four baths larger than average bedrooms) was being constructed for the Texas home of C. W. Post, who built Post, and colonized that area for a farming region, at the time of his death in 1914. Post also had homes in California and Connecticut and a whole floor of the Post Tavern at Battle Creek, Michigan. The Giles Connells occupied the residence for many years.
