Description
Clipping reads: "Fort Worth [residents] were asked what they hope they'll have to be thankful for by Thanksgiving of 1952...A policeman was thinking of everyday groceries. Traffic Patrolman L. K. Gray will be thankful, he said, for 'a better salary for the entire department.''" Photo shows a male police officer in uniform facing forward with his arms on his hips. Unidentified man [presumably the reporter George Dolan] is facing sideways with a pipe in his mouth writing on paper.
