Description
Clipping reads: "Fort Worth [residents] were asked what they hope they'll have to be thankful for by Thanksgiving of 1952...If Homer C. McCart of 918 8th Ave., a hat salesman, has any fancy wishes, he kept them under his hat. 'I'll be thankful just to be alive,' he said. 'And I hope we're not at war, of course.'" Photo shows a man wearing a suit and tie and is holding his hat in his hands.
